The general purpose of this study was to verify that Training Toward improvement the reading comprehension with the ClozeTecnique was efficient to 14 students, ali of them fema/e, from the first semester in theInstituto Pedagógico de Maracay, where the sample evaluated.. The training was cafrriedout during five consecutive weeks, twice sensions per week. The test ´Cloze´ were desing based on different textbools from the Venezue/an literature. The training in reading Comprehension with the Cloze Tecnique proved to be effective for that perpose, achieving an increase levei of reading comprehension in ali the participants.@en
