In the last one destach the Content Analysis and Literacy, being low the production concerning social and culturalinfluences.                     [1] => Descreve a produção científicaarrolada no Annual Summary of Investigations Relating to Reading (1989/1994) quanto às áreas de conhecimento, o que vem sendo pesquisado em Sociologia da leiturapara detectar o espaço de pesquisa sobre influências socioculturais e as pesquisas nesta subárea. Aparecem como áreas com alta freqüência de pesquisa: Fisiologia e Psicologia da Leitura; Ensino da Leitura e Sociologia da Leitura. Nesta última destacam-se a Análise de Conteúdo e Alfabetização sendo baixa a produção sobre influências socioculturais. Somente sete trabalhos aparecem com predomínio do estudo da interface escola-comunidade, tendo por sujeitos adultos, com pesquisas de levantamento e predominantementequantitativas.@pt
