                    [1] => Defendemos que o jornalismo produz uma representação e um sentido de mundo, que podem ser tidos muito mais como um trato que um retrato da realidade. Os fatos jornalísticos são formas epistemológicas de organizar o mundo, reforçam contextos de modelos estabilizados e, paradoxalmente, apresentam grande carga de indeterminação e ambigüidade nos relatos dos acontecimentos. Assumimos a teoria da indeterminação do significado como um espaço intrínseco à linguagem e cuja determinação de sentido é fruto de uma construção interativa e discursiva da realidade. Ressaltamos os aspectos que dizem respeito ao próprio modo de produção de sentido pela atividade referencial ao não se admitir que de um lado está a linguagem, e de outro os fatos, e que ao indivíduo - o jornalista - cabe usá-los para um relato darividente e unívoco.@pt
