                                            [0] => This article aims to discuss the spread of ideas of the American sociologist Gaye Tuchman in the area of Communication, in Portuguese speaking countries, especially in Brazil. Therefore, we conducted a literature search of her studies in Portuguese and of publications about her. We will discuss her concepts and we will use it to analyze the news coverage of summary executions of criminal suspects and accused of rape and murder of children and women.
                                            [1] => Este artigo tem por objetivo discutir a difusão das ideias da socióloga estadunidense Gaye Tuchman na área da Comunicação nos países lusófonos, em especial no Brasil. Para tanto, foi realizada pesquisa bibliográfica dos trabalhos em Língua Portuguesa da autora e de pesquisadores cujas publicações a referenciam. Os principais conceitos desenvolvidos por Tuchman serão aqui expostos e utilizados para a análise do fenômeno da cobertura jornalística da execução sumária de acusados e suspeitos de crimes hediondos de estupro e homicídio qualificado de criança, adolescente e mulher.
