                                            [0] => The objective of this work to promote reflections and raise questions about the standards of quality established by the commissions of specialists of the Ministry of Education and its implications for the libraries of the institutions of higher education. A total of 47 standards of quality were analyzed. The results showed heterogeneity among the instruments of evaluation. Moreover, the results will allow the identification of misconceptions and demands that cause impacts in the management and services rendered.
                                            [1] => Objetiva provocar reflexões e levantar questões sobre os padrões de qualidade estabelecidos pelas comissões de especialistas do Ministério da Educação e Cultura - MEC - e suas implicações nas bibliotecas das instituições de ensino superior. Foram analisados 47 padrões de qualidade, a partir dos itens de avaliação para bibliotecas de cada curso. Os resultados mostraram heterogeneidade entre os instrumentos de avaliação, além de permitirem identificar equívocos e exigências que causam impactos na gestão da coleção e nos serviços prestados.
