                    [0] => Bringing Librarianship closer to discussions that involve oral mediation in different environments contributes to the improvement of librarians´ practices and, possibly, will have repercussions on the construction of plural collections in different genres of information units. In addition, it may also alert mediators about their social responsibility. In recent years, on the part of the Research Group Interfaces: Information and Knowledge, there has been a constant effort to defend that written documents, whether printed or digital, should not be the only form of appropriation of information, reading and literature. In this article, through the contributions of three Paulos, namely: Otlet (1934, 2018), Freire (1983, 1987) and Zumthor (1997, 2001, 2005), orality was highlighted as a form of appropriation of information by all citizens, and can be exercised by the mediator and also by the mediator in the dialogical relationship. As a methodological procedure, bibliographic research and documentary research were used. It is concluded that the information communicated through the voice makes mediation a democratic and welcoming act for non-literate subjects, people with a disability or even for the pleasure of reading through the ears.

                    [1] => Aproximar a Biblioteconomia das discussões que envolvam a mediação oral em diferentes ambientes, contribui para que as práticas dos bibliotecários sejam aprimoradas e, possivelmente, venham repercutir na construção de acervos plurais nos diferentes gêneros de unidades de informação. Além disso, poderá também alertar os mediadores quanto a sua responsabilidade social. Há, nos últimos anos, por parte do Grupo de Pesquisa Interfaces: Informação e Conhecimento um empenho constante em defender que os documentos escritos, sejam eles impressos ou digitais não devem ser a única forma de apropriação da informação, leitura e literatura. Nesse artigo, por meio de contributos de três Paulos, sendo eles: Otlet (1934, 2018), Freire (1983, 1987) e Zumthor (1997, 2001, 2005), colocou-se em evidência a oralidade como forma de apropriação da informação por todos os cidadãos, podendo ser exercida pelo mediador e também pelo mediando na relação dialógica. Como procedimento metodológico utilizou-se a pesquisa bibliográfica e a pesquisa documental. Conclui-se que a informação comunicada por meio da voz, torna a mediação um ato democrático e acolhedor pelos sujeitos não alfabetizados, pessoas com alguma deficiência ou ainda pela aprazibilidade de ler pelos ouvidos.@pt
