Establishes a condition problem-posing, problem-a challenge that sees see how activities undertaken by the Sociedade dos Poetas de Barbalha (SPB) can contribute to the cultural memory and identity of its members. Determines your overall goal in, investigate the role of the Sociedade dos Poetas de Barbalha in identity construction and upgrading/ressignification of the collective memory of its members. Designates the methodological path, intending to respond to problems and meet the goals, the characterization techniques and stages of research, systematized as follows: purpose, undertook the exploratory and descriptive method; as to the means, applied to bibliographical and documentary strategy, resting on the qualitative approach; for collecting data and evidence, by the technique of participant observation, and, as an instrument, the semi-structured interview; regarding the analysis of the data, was the analysis of documents, oral history and cultural studies in order to trace a history of the formation and development of the SPB, as well as analyze the string that entity, entitled “Feast of Saint Anthony of Barbalha”. Presents as an end product, the elaboration of a catalogue with the strings published by SPB, as well as the biographies of the poet’s members. Concludes, clarifying the ways of representation of the memory from the activities carried out by the SPB, highlighting the role of the string as a tool for heritage education, as well as raise the triggering of other research in that direction.
                                            [1] => Retrata sobre a representação da identidade e da memória a partir da Literatura de Cordel, com vista a fortalecer sua função enquanto canal condutor de informação e conhecimento, capaz de representar de forma significativa a cultura popular de um povo. Estabelece como condição problematizadora, uma interpelação que vislumbra depreender como as atividades desenvolvidas pela Sociedade dos Poetas de Barbalha (SPB) pode contribuir para a identidade e memória cultural de seus membros. Determina em seu objetivo geral, investigar o papel da Sociedade dos Poetas de Barbalha na construção da identidade e atualização/ressignificação da memória coletiva dos seus membros Designa no percurso metodológico, tencionando responder a problemática e atender os objetivos, a caracterização das técnicas e etapas da pesquisa, sistematizadas da seguinte maneira: na finalidade, empreendeu-se o método exploratório e descritivo; quanto aos meios, aplicou-se a estratégia bibliográfica e documental, repousando sobre a abordagem qualitativa; para a coleta de dados e evidências, optou-se pela técnica da observação participante, e, como instrumento, a entrevista semiestruturada; no que concerne a análise dos dados, empregou-se a análise documental, história oral e os estudos culturais com o intuito de traçar um histórico da formação e desenvolvimento da SPB, assim como analisar o cordel coletivo dessa entidade, intitulado “Festa de Santo Antônio de Barbalha”. Apresenta como produto final, a elaboração de um catálogo com os cordéis publicados pela SPB, bem como a biografia dos poetas membros. Conclui, elucidando as formas de representação da memória a partir das atividades desenvolvidas pela SPB, destacando o papel do cordel como ferramenta de educação patrimonial, além de suscitar o desencadeamento de outras pesquisas nesse sentido.
