                    [0] => The mediation of information, in the school environment, especially in the early years, is carried out by the teacher, because, although municipal schools have the physical space of the library, they do not have professionals to perform the function of librarian. In order to understand how students in this age group deal with the most diverse information around them and what the teacher´s role is as a mediator of information, the proposition is to know the informational behavior of students and the informational mediation process of students in initials, from the teacher´s perspective, as an information mediator, with the objective of elaborating a proposal for the development of information mediation activity by the teacher in a school library environment. For this, a theoretical study was carried out on informational behavior and information mediation and an explanatory study on the process and the informational mediation agent of the municipal education network of Marília, in the early years. In the field of information mediation, there is a significant paradigm shift, which, before, was focused on the system and, today, is more focused on the user, their needs and uses of information, that is, focused on people, their information behavior. Reflections on mediation in the school context suggest that the teacher, the librarian and the school library play a fundamental role, contributing positively to the student´s cognitive development.@en
                    [1] => A mediação da informação, em âmbito escolar, em especial nos anos iniciais, é realizada pelo professor, porque, apesar de as escolas municipais terem o espaço físico da biblioteca, não dispõem de profissionais para exercer a função de bibliotecário. Com a finalidade de entender como os alunos dessa faixa etária lidam com as mais diversas informações ao seu redor e qual o papel do professor como mediador da informação, a proposição é conhecer o comportamento informacional de estudantes e o processo de mediação informacional dos estudantes de anos iniciais, sob a perspectiva do professor, enquanto mediador da informação, com o objetivo de elaborar proposta de desenvolvimento de atividade de mediação da informação pelo professor em ambiente de biblioteca escolar. Para isso, foi realizado estudo teórico sobre comportamento informacional e mediação da informação e estudo explicativo sobre o processo e o agente de mediação informacional da rede municipal de ensino de Marília, nos anos iniciais. No campo da mediação da informação, observa-se uma mudança significativa de paradigma, o qual, antes, era voltado para o sistema e, hoje, está mais direcionado ao usuário, suas necessidades e usos da informação, ou seja, focado nas pessoas, no comportamento informacional delas.  As reflexões sobre a mediação no contexto escolar sugerem que o professor, o bibliotecário e a biblioteca escolar assumem um papel fundamental, contribuindo de maneira positiva para o desenvolvimento cognitivo do aluno.@pt
