                                            [0] => The present work has the objective of presenting photography as a source of information recognized through its informational characteristics. For this to occur, it conceptualizes photography, as well as information sources using photography as theoretical validation, highlighting its importance as informational material and historical preservation through memory. It defines memory and its importance for the construction and preservation of the memory of the bairro de Campo Grande, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro and recognized as the largest neighborhood in terms of population. It presents a brief history of the construction and development of the bairro de Campo Grande. It selects, through image material, places at the end of the 20th Century that are relevant in the construction and development of the neighborhood. It concludes that photography is of enormous value as an individual and social memory device, being recognized as an informational source for the history of the neighborhood and the State.
                                            [1] => O presente trabalho objetiva apresentar a fotografia como uma fonte de informação reconhecida por meio de suas características informacionais. Para que isso ocorra, conceitua fotografia, assim como as fontes de informação utilizando a fotografia como validação teórica, evidenciando a sua importância como material informacional e de preservação histórica por meio da memória. Define memória e a sua importância para a construção e preservação da memória do bairro de Campo Grande, localizado na cidade do Rio de Janeiro e reconhecido como o maior bairro em termos populacionais. Apresenta um breve histórico sobre a construção e o desenvolvimento do bairro de Campo Grande. Seleciona, por meio de material imagético, locais no final do século XX que possuem relevância na construção e no desenvolvimento do bairro. Conclui que a fotografia é de enorme valor como dispositivo de memória individual e social, sendo reconhecida como uma fonte informacional para a história do bairro e do Estado.
