It deals with reflections on the mediation of information in relation to veganism in the context of ethics and animal rights as a perspective of the librarian´s performance. colonial in its stigmatization and discouragement. It aims to address the librarian´s performance perspectives through mediation of information applied to the issue of veganism, exposing the relationship between information, questions of ethics and animal rights. Through an exploratory research and bibliographic review, it shows the relationship between consumption of products of animal origin with the environmental crisis and increasing rates of new diseases. He concludes by highlighting the new possibilities of living through veganism, and the leading role that the librarian can play in promoting just, egalitarian and sustainable societies with quality of life for humans and non-humans.@en
                    [1] => Discute as problemáticas causadas por consumo de produtos alimentícios ou não de origem animal, e os conflitos éticos, ambientais e sanitários que são decorrentes. Trata de reflexões sobre a mediação da informação em relação ao veganismo no contexto da ética e direito dos animais como perspectiva de atuação do bibliotecário Aborda os processos de desinformação que perpassam alimentações baseadas em plantas, tais como no vegetarianismo e veganismo, apontando a influência da invasão colonial em sua estigmatização e desestímulo. Objetiva abordar as perspectivas de atuação do bibliotecário através da mediação da informação aplicadas a questão do veganismo, expondo a relação entre informação, questões de ética e direito dos animais. Através de uma pesquisa exploratória e revisão bibliográfica, evidencia a relação entre consumo de produtos de origem animal com a crise ambiental e índices crescentes de novas doenças. Conclui salientando as novas possibilidades de viver através do veganismo, e no papel protagonista que o bibliotecário pode ter na promoção de sociedades justas, igualitárias e sustentáveis com qualidade de vida para humanos e não humanos.@pt
