                                            [0] => The purpose of this article is to analyze Senate Bill No. 146/2007, which deals with the digitization and archiving of documents in optical or electronic media, as well as verifying how its implementation will affect the preservation of documents in the country. It adopts as methodology the bibliographical and documentary research. It presents a detailed description of the proposal, comparing the project with current legislation - Law No. 12,682 / 2012 - and analyzing the main justifications contained in PLS 146/2007. In addition, the article discusses the main innovation contained in the project, which is the possibility of discarding paper documents, after their digitalization and certification.
                                            [1] => O presente artigo tem por finalidade analisar o Projeto de Lei do Senado n° 146/2007, que dispõe sobre a digitalização e arquivamento de documentos em mídia ótica ou eletrônica. O trabalho possui uma apresentação detalhada da proposta, compara o projeto com a legislação vigente – Lei Nº 12.682/2012 – e analisa as principais justificativas contidas no PLS 146/2017. Além disso, o artigo discorre sobre a principal inovação contida no projeto, que é a possibilidade de descarte de documentos em papel, após a sua digitalização e certificação digital.
