                    [0] => It aims to reflect the social way in which meanings can be produced, proposing a dialogue between the structural concept of culture, the Theory of Social Representations, the anthropological perspective of information and the concept of reading as appropriation of meanings. It analyzes the intersubjective, contextual and ideological nature present in the operations of meaning, namely: in cultural symbolisms, in social representations, in information and in reading. It highlights the issue of power inserted in the aforementioned phenomena, as well as the dynamics of meanings mobilized in favor of social protagonism. Finally, it considers the critical approach as fundamental for the studies of Information Science, defending the ethical position with which the area can engage in favor of human dignity and the exercise of collectivity.@en
                    [1] => Objetiva refletir a forma social como os sentidos podem ser produzidos, propondo diálogo entre o conceito estrutural de cultura, a Teoria das Representações Sociais, a perspectiva antropológica da informação e o conceito de leitura como apropriação de sentidos. Analisa a natureza intersubjetiva, contextual e ideológica presente nas operações de sentido, a saber: nos simbolismos culturais, nas representações sociais, na informação e na leitura. Evidencia a problemática do poder inserido nos referidos fenômenos, bem como a dinâmica de sentidos mobilizada em favor do protagonismo social. Considera finalmente a abordagem crítica como fundamental para os estudos da Ciência da Informação, defendendo o posicionamento ético com o qual a área pode se engajar em prol da dignidade humana e do exercício da coletividade.@pt
