                    [0] => This text aims to establish a dialogue about the concept of cognitive authority from the Brazilian evangelical community and its ecclesiastical and spiritual authorities to understand the phenomenon of disinformation in this segment. For this reflection, it presents data on the exponential growth of this group in recent decades, the treatment used during this period by the traditional media and, in contrast, a survey by the Institute of Religious Studies with topics listed by women about their relationship with the church. Then, it describes the concepts used in evangelical communities for ecclesiastical authorities, which can be attributed through administrative positions, spiritual authority, which is established through the recognition of members without formalized positions and, in digital environments, the rise of authorities spiritual influencers and youtubers, who hold leadership within and outside the churches with communities. From this context, the use of the concept of cognitive authority and the new categories, genuine cognitive authorities and pseudo cognitive authorities, and how these terms make sense in the relations between religious authorities and the evangelical community are pointed out. Finally, the article points out the first observations on the relevance of these authorities, seen by members as reliable sources of information and the need to create a research agenda deepening studies in information science and information ethics on disinformation in evangelical communities Brazilian@en
                    [1] => Esse texto tem por objetivo estabelecer um diálogo sobre o conceito de autoridade cognitiva a partir da comunidade evangélica brasileira e suas autoridades eclesiásticas e espirituais para compreender o fenômeno da desinformação nesse segmento. Para essa reflexão apresenta dados sobre o crescimento exponencial desse grupo nas últimas décadas, o tratamento utilizado durante esse período pela mídia tradicional e, em contraponto, uma pesquisa do Instituto de Estudos da Religião com tópicos elencados por mulheres sobre a relação com a igreja. Em seguida, descreve os conceitos utilizados nas comunidades evangélicas para as autoridades eclesiásticas, que podem ser atribuídas através de cargos administrativos, a autoridade espiritual, que se estabelece através do reconhecimento dos membros sem possuir cargo formalizado e, nos ambientes digitais, a ascensão de autoridades espirituais como influenciadores e youtubers, que detém junto às comunidades liderança dentro e fora das igrejas. A partir desse contexto aponta-se o uso do conceito de autoridade cognitiva e suas novas categorias, a saber: as autoridades cognitivas genuínas a as pseudo autoridades cognitivas. Estabelece como tais autoridades fazem sentido nas relações entre autoridades religiosas e a comunidade evangélica. Para finalizar, o artigo aponta as primeiras observações sobre a relevância dessas autoridades, vistas pelos membros como fontes confiáveis de informação e a necessidade de criar uma agenda de pesquisa aprofundando os estudos no campo de estudos da informação, especialmente da ética da informação sobre a desinformação nas comunidades evangélicas brasileiras@pt
