                    [0] => Based on the theoretical-methodological assumptions of the international research network “Ciudades y Comunidades Imaginedas Latinas en la Era Digital”, this article aims to verify how the media constructed the representations about the coronavirus pandemic and the city of Porto Alegre from the local newspaper stories. The research was carried out in the digital newspapers Correio do Povo, Jornal do Comércio and O Sul, from october 2020 to december 2020. The study analyzes the main information disclosed and the images about the pandemic in the city. The news about the pandemic privileged the protocols adopted and the impacts that it brought to the various sectors that involve the dynamics of the city. It is concluded that digital newspapers, through the dissemination of informational content and images transmitted, exert mediation in the construction of representations about the pandemic in the city. @en
                    [1] => A partir dos pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da pesquisa internacional em rede “Ciudades y comunidades imaginadas latinas en la era digital”, este artigo tem por objetivo verificar como a mídia construiu as representações sobre a pandemia de coronavírus e a cidade de Porto Alegre a partir das narrativas de jornais locais. A pesquisa foi realizada nos jornais digitais Correio do Povo, Jornal do Comércio e O Sul, no período de outubro de 2020 a dezembro de 2020. O estudo analisa às principais informações divulgadas e as imagens sobre a pandemia na cidade. As notícias sobre a pandemia privilegiaram os protocolos adotados e os impactos que a mesma trouxe para os diversos setores que envolvem a dinâmica da cidade. Conclui-se que os jornais digitais, por meio da divulgação dos conteúdos informacionais e das imagens veiculadas, exercem mediação na construção das representações sobre a pandemia na cidade.@pt
