                    [0] => The present study aimed to indicate the possible benefits of adopting an archival scanning technique in the legal sector of a federal institution of higher education. Using a theoretical approach that goes from the historical constitution of archives to the latest archival techniques, and a participant observation methodology, it was sought to present how the administrative routines of the analyzed site could be optimized. Through the detailed description of the structure and activities of the sector, it was concluded that the adherence to archival practices would provide better services, facilitating the search for information, the decision-making process as well as collaborating strongly for the preventive conservation of the original documents.@en
                    [1] => O presente estudo teve como objetivo indicar os possíveis benefícios da digitalização arquivística no setor jurídico de uma instituição pública federal de educação superior. Utilizando uma abordagem teórica que vai desde a constituição histórica dos arquivos até o uso de técnicas mais recentes, bem como uma observação participante, buscou-se apresentar de que forma as rotinas administrativas do setor jurídico da Universidade Federal de Viçosa poderiam ser otimizadas. Através da descrição pormenorizada da estrutura e das atividades do setor, concluiu-se que a adesão de práticas arquivísticas, sobretudo a digitalização de documentos de arquivos, conduziria a um salto na qualidade dos serviços prestados, facilitando a recuperação de informações e as tomadas de decisões, assim como colaboraria fortemente para a conservação preventiva dos documentos originais.@pt
