                    [0] => The study aimed to map scientific communication, starting in 1988, on public policies carried out within the scope of Brazilian Public Libraries. To this end, the publications available in the Database of Journals in Information Science (BRAPCI), Library and Information Science Abstracts LISA), Library and Information Science Abstracts (LIST), Base PERI and Scientific Elec-tronic Library Online (Scielo) were analyzed. ) with 36 publications on the subject under analysis. The publications were classified by pre-established categories and identified by a journal. They were also identified by the year of publication and authorship, in addition to identifying the most recurrent terms from the analysis of the keywords. Thus, there was a reduced scientific production on public policies within the scope of Brazilian Public Libraries, which allows us to conclude that this theme has been treated sparingly by the Postgraduate Programs in Information Science in Brazil.@en
                    [1] => O estudo teve como objetivo realizar o mapeamento da comunicação científica, a partir do ano de 1988, sobre as políticas públicas realizadas no âmbito das Bibliotecas Públicas brasileiras. Para tanto, foram analisadas as publicações disponíveis na Base de Dados de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI), Library and Information Science Abstracts LISA), Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISTA), Base PERI e Scientific Elec-tronic Library Online (Scielo) sendo constatadas 36 publicações sobre a temática em análise. As publicações foram classificadas por categorias pré estabelecidas e identificadas por periódico. Também foram identificadas pelo ano de publicação e autoria, além da identificação dos termos mais recorrentes a partir da análise das palavras chave. Desse modo observou-se uma reduzida produção científica sobre as políticas públicas no âmbito das Bibliotecas Públicas brasileiras o que permite concluir que esta temática vem sendo tratada com parcimônia pelos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação no Brasil.@pt
