                                            [0] => This article presents the research developed on the identification of marks of bibliographic origin in two collections donated to the National Library in the 19th century. Experimental, it aims to identify these marks in works donated by D. Pedro II in 1891 and Salvador de Mendonça between 1884 and 1890 to the institution. A technical sheet was prepared to gather a set of technical and photographic records during the analysis of the works. The understanding of the procedures and survey of the bibliographic provenance marks will be able to reveal the Library's own history, since these copies may contain different testimonies from different periods of the institution that may contribute to its recognition, belonging and security.
                                            [1] => Este artigo apresenta a pesquisa desenvolvida sobre a identificação das marcas de proveniência bibliográfica em duas coleções doadas à Biblioteca Nacional no século XIX. De caráter experimental, ela objetiva identificar estas marcas nas obras doadas por D. Pedro II em 1891 e Salvador de Mendonça entre 1884 e 1890 à instituição. Uma ficha técnica foi elaborada para se reunir um conjunto de registros técnicos e fotográficos durante a análise das obras. O entendimento dos procedimentos e levantamento das marcas de proveniência bibliográfica será capaz de revelar a própria história da Biblioteca Nacional, uma vez que nesses exemplares podem conter diversos testemunhos de diferentes períodos da instituição que possam contribuir com seu reconhecimento, pertencimento e segurança.
