                                            [0] => This article seeks to reflect on the informational situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an exploratory research, based on a literature, bibliographic and documental review. We address the issue of infodemics (excess of information, some accurate and others not), disinformation (false or inaccurate information whose deliberate intention is to deceive) and disinfodemics (appears as disinformation in the midst of the pandemic, from the delegitimization of production knowledge) and, in the light of the interdisciplinary issues of Information Science, identify the role of IC within this context of informational crisis that affects the whole world. We point to information competence and critical competence as part of new research horizons in Information Science to face the informational issues of the COVID-19 pandemic.
                                            [1] => Este artigo busca refletir sobre a situação informacional da pandemia da COVID-19. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, pautada em revisão de literatura, bibliográfica e documental. Abordamos a questão da infodemia (excesso de informações, algumas precisas e outras não), a desinformação (uma informação falsa ou imprecisa cuja intenção deliberada é enganar) e a desinfodemia (surge como uma desinformação em meio à pandemia, a partir da deslegitimação da produção do conhecimento) e, à luz das questões interdisciplinares da Ciência da Informação, identificar qual o papel da CI dentro desse contexto de crise informacional que afeta o mundo todo. Apontamos a competência em informação e a competência crítica como parte de novos horizontes de pesquisa da Ciência da Informação para o enfrentamento das questões informacionais da pandemia da COVID-19.
