                                            [0] => Museums are institutions that can contribute to non-formal education, especially if they maintain a good interaction with formal education institutions. Scheduling school visits to museums is a fundamental point in this interaction between museums and educational institutions. This work investigated the process of scheduling school visits at the Câmara Cascudo Museum (MCC) between 2017 and 2020, as well as the information covered in it. An exploratory qualitative research was carried out using the field study method to understand this process from the museum employees’ perspective. The field study articulated participatory observation, documentary research and unstructured interviews with museum staff. As a result, it presented a flowchart of the process of scheduling school visits, a flowchart of the reception of school visits at the museum and a class diagram which organizes information covered in this process. In addition, it was possible to identify 8 opportunities for improvement that involve: integration of activities, sources and information; loss and inconsistencies of information; needs to review information used; process inefficiency; and expansion of museum-school interaction. These results can help MCC and other museums to improve museum management and to fulfill their social role in non-formal education.
                                            [1] => Museus são instituições que podem contribuir com a educação não formal, principalmente se mantiverem uma boa interação com instituições de educação formal. O agendamento de visitas escolares a museus é um ponto fundamental nessa interação entre museus e instituições de ensino. Este trabalho investigou o processo de agendamento de visitas escolares do Museu Câmara Cascudo (MCC) entre 2017 e 2020, bem como as informações abordadas nele. Realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa exploratória com o método estudo de campo para compreender esse processo na perspectiva dos funcionários do museu. O estudo de campo articulou observação participativa, pesquisa documental e entrevistas não estruturadas com funcionários do museu. Como resultado, apresentou-se um fluxograma do processo de agendamento de visitas escolares, um fluxograma da recepção de visitas escolares no museu e um diagrama de classes que organiza as informações abordadas neste processo. Além disso, foi possível identificar 8 oportunidades de melhoria que envolvem: integração de atividades, fontes e informações; perda e inconsistências de informações; necessidades de revisão das informações utilizadas; ineficiência do processo; e ampliação da interação museu-escola. Esses resultados podem auxiliar o MCC e outros museus a aprimorarem a gestão museal e a cumprirem seu papel social na educação não formal.
