                                            [0] => It analyzes in the foreign literature, between the years of 2005 and 2017, in order to understand what the contributions of the school library in the teaching-learning process are. It presents a bibliographic survey in the "Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts with Full Text" database through the EBSCO website. The specific objectives of the research were to do a bibliographic survey of the school library abroad, to analyze the contributions of the school library in the teaching-learning process and to verify how foreign literature comprises the library in the school space. The method used was a bibliographic review with quantitative-qualitative approach. The objective was to analyze articles in English  with the case studies about the school library from experiences lived, mainly, outside Brazil. The readings showed the contributions that the school library has in the teaching-learning process, since it contributes in a positive way in the practice of reading, writing and in the development of information literacy in students.
                                            [1] => Analisa na literatura estrangeira, entre os anos de 2005 e 2017, no sentido de entender quais são as contribuições da biblioteca escolar no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Apresenta levantamento bibliográfico realizado na base de dados “Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts with Full Text” por meio do website EBSCO host. A pesquisa teve como objetivos específicos realizar levantamento bibliográfico sobre a biblioteca escolar no exterior, analisar as contribuições da biblioteca escolar no processo de ensino-aprendizagem e verificar como a literatura estrangeira compreende a biblioteca no espaço escolar. O método utilizado foi revisão bibliográfica com abordagem quanti-qualitativa.  Objetivou-se analisar artigos em língua inglesa que tratassem de estudos de caso sobre a biblioteca escolar a partir de experiências vivenciadas, principalmente, fora do Brasil. As leituras realizadas demonstraram as contribuições que a biblioteca escolar exerce no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, pois ela contribui de forma positiva na prática de leitura, escrita e no desenvolvimento do letramento informacional nos estudantes.
