                                    [description] => O presente trabalho tem por objetivo fazer uma investigação sobre a leitura infantil, refletindo sobre a importância das políticas públicas que visam o incentivo a leitura, bem como discutir sobre a importância da leitura para o processo educativo e mapear as principais pesquisas sobre leitura no Brasil, em especial a leitura infantil. Serão apresentados projetos de leitura, sob diferentes olhares, investigando a leitura como sendo um processo discursivo de apreensão de sentido e de significação, baseando-se principalmente nos diagnósticos de leitura revelados pela pesquisa Retratos do Brasil.
