                                            [0] => Objetive. In this article we present an analysis of the reading plans of various secondary schools in Spain in order to identify what they are like and what they should be like.
Method. Thirteen observation variables were defined: presentation, theoretical framework, context, the school’s reading history, school culture, proposals to promote reading (at classroom, school, library, family and other institutions), competencies, departmental involvement, relationship with other plans, resources, evaluation, updating and differentiating elements.
Results. The results show a wide diversity of practices, which, taken together, are key to the improvement of reading literacy among students.
Conclusions. It is possible to conclude that this indispensable planning tool could be better used by schools to rationalise and make visible the efforts made in schools to develop pupils’ reading literacy.
                                            [1] => Objetivo. En este artículo presentamos un análisis de Planes Lectores de diversos centros educativos de Educación Secundaria en España para identificar cómo son y cómo deberían ser los mismos.
Método. Se definieron trece variables de observación: presentación, marco teórico, contexto, trayectoria lectora del centro, cultura del centro, propuestas para promover la lectura (a nivel de aula, centro, biblioteca, familias y otras instituciones), competencias, implicación departamental, relación con otros planes, recursos, evaluación, actualización y elementos diferenciadores.
Resultados. Los resultados muestran una amplia diversidad de prácticas, que, en conjunto, son claves para la mejora de la competencia lectora entre el alumnado.
Conclusiones. Es posible concluir que esta indispensable herramienta de planificación podría ser mejor aprovechada por parte de los centros para racionalizar y visibilizar los esfuerzos que se hacen en los centros para desarrollar la competencia lectora del alumnado.
