                                            [0] => The study of the production of articles and the position of the authors is of great interest in the academic field and university research. Scientific research serves as a quality indicator in university processes, therefore, establishing scientific evaluation indicators is crucial to make efficient decisions in the use of resources and in administrative management. The present work was carried out with the objective of analyzing the behavior of scientific production and the visibility of UNIANDES researchers during the period from January 2015 to January 2022. For this, a retrospective bibliometric study was carried out using the database Scopus data as a source of information. The results reveal a significant increase in the scientific production of the university and in the performance indicators in recent years. This production is characterized by its originality and focuses on areas such as business management, social sciences, accounting, economics, finance and mathematics. The most prolific authors with the greatest academic impact stand out for their participation in extensive networks of scientific collaboration. However, there is a lack of collaboration with international institutions, the most common being collaboration between researchers from different regional headquarters. In terms of international positioning, UNIANDES has stood out as one of the top 20 universities in Ecuador in terms of scientific impact.
                                            [1] => El estudio de la producción de artículos y la posición de los autores es de gran interés en el ámbito académico y de investigación universitaria. La investigación científica sirve como indicador de calidad en los procesos universitarios, por lo tanto, establecer indicadores de evaluación científica es crucial para tomar decisiones eficientes en el uso de recursos y en la gestión administrativa. Se realizó el presente trabajo con el objetivo de analizar el comportamiento de la producción científica y la visibilidad de los investigadores de UNIANDES durante el período de enero de 2015 a enero de 2022. Para ello, se llevó a cabo un estudio bibliométrico retrospectivo utilizando la base de datos de Scopus como fuente de información.  Los resultados revelan un aumento significativo en la producción científica de la universidad y en los indicadores de rendimiento en los últimos años. Esta producción se caracteriza por su originalidad y se centra en áreas como la gestión empresarial, las ciencias sociales, la contabilidad, la economía, las finanzas y las matemáticas. Los autores más prolíficos y con mayor impacto académico se destacan por su participación en extensas redes de colaboración científica. Sin embargo, se observa una falta de colaboración con instituciones internacionales, siendo la colaboración entre investigadores de diferentes sedes regionales la más común. En términos de posicionamiento internacional, UNIANDES se ha destacado como una de las principales 20 universidades en Ecuador en términos de impacto científico.
