[0] => The aim of the study was to describe the process of developing and evaluating the usability of a prototype web page for adherence to pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases and their risk factors in primary health care. It consisted of an applied methodological research of technological development. The technical-scientific content was built by the research team. For the construction of the website, tools were used in three areas: Front End, Back End and Database. For the usability test, five health professionals evaluated the accessibility and satisfaction with a form created by the researchers based on scientific literature. The response was dichotomous (yes, no) with comments. On the web page, the patient and health team menus open in five interfaces: one with the dates of the next check-ups, another with the health check-up data, which includes pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment; two with informative data on treatment and healthy lifestyles and the last, with patient data. As for the evaluation of usability, the five professionals evaluated accessibility and satisfaction positively. The study succeeded in creating a prototype web application for patients with cardiovascular disease and risk factors. The proposed technology can be designed for other diseases or health needs. In addition, after validation, it will enable studies to explore the effectiveness of this technology.
