                    [0] => INDEXAR – Directory of Digital Resources aims to facilitate the discovery and access to digital resources by the teaching and research community. It presents itself as a service that provides online a list of repositories and scientific journals in the field of science and culture. Each resource gathers specific meta information, which allows users to locate or identify scientific information in their areas of interest. INDEXAR intends to be the authoritative source of information on national repositories and journals and ensure, as interoperable as possible, their presence in international directories. The governance model adopted at INDEXAR, which includes specialists by field of activity, ensures that the submission of new registrations goes through a careful evaluation process that guarantees not only the quality and adequacy of the information, but also its degree of completeness. This article aims to present a new service that is characterized by being a tool that highly promotes access to knowledge in ​​science and culture areas. The article also describes the context that led to its management model, funding, eligibility criteria and main services.@en
                    [1] => O INDEXAR – Diretório de Recursos Digitais visa facilitar a descoberta e acesso a recursos digitais pela comunidade de ensino e de investigação. Apresenta-se como um serviço que disponibiliza online uma lista de repositórios e revistas científicas na área da ciência e da cultura. Cada recurso reúne meta informação específica, que permite aos utilizadores localizar ou identificar informação científica nas suas áreas de interesse.  O INDEXAR pretende ser a fonte autoritativa de informação sobre repositórios e revistas nacionais e assegurar, de forma tão interoperável quanto possível, a presença destes em diretórios internacionais. O modelo de governança adotado no INDEXAR, que inclui especialistas por domínio de atuação, assegura que a submissão de novos registros passe por um processo de avaliação cuidadoso que garante não só a qualidade e adequação da informação como o seu grau de completude. Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar um novo serviço que se caracteriza por ser uma ferramenta altamente promotora do acesso ao conhecimento na área da ciência e da cultura. O artigo descreve ainda o contexto que levou ao seu modelo de gestão, financiamento, critérios de elegibilidade e principais serviços.@pt
