                    [0] => In this article I seek to describe, analyze and problematize the process of scientific communication, dissemination and diffusion. The basis for this reflection is the performance of the Ciência & Saúde Coletiva journal over its eleven years of existence; I seek to link this case study with the field of interests of the process of communication, indexing and consequently, the standing of the publication, the editors and the authors on the international stage. The data published and illustrated in the article are part of the journal’s archive, and were categorized and analyzed by me, in collaboration with its executive editor. In the analysis and conclusions, I attempt to show that in the field of science and technology, the “gold of the 21st century”, there is no room for naivety. However there is space for national and international cooperation and for endowing academic production with a social purpose: Science for Society.@en
                    [1] => Neste artigo busco descrever, analisar e problematizar o processo de comunicação, de disseminação e de divulgação científica. Utilizo como base reflexiva o desempenho da Revista Ciência & Saúde Coletiva nos seus onze anos de existência e busco articular a reflexão deste caso com o “campo de interesses” que constitui o processo de comunicação, indexação e conseqüentemente, valorização do veículo, dos editores e dos autores no cenário internacional. Metodologicamente, os dados publicados e ilustrados fazem farte do arquivo da Revista citada, tendo sido categorizado e analisado por mim, com a colaboração da editoria executiva da revista. Nas análises e conclusões, procuro mostrar que no campo da ciência e da tecnologia, o “ouro do século XXI” não há lugar para ingenuidades. No entanto, existe espaço sim, para cooperação nacional e internacional e para dar uma razão social à produção acadêmica: ciência para a sociedade.@pt
