                                            [0] => Objective. In the present work, the bibliographical production referring to smart contracts is reviewed from the business, academic and scientific points of view. The aim is to analyze precisely how the relationship between smart contracts and blockchain occurs to establish a context in both developments.
Design/Methodology/Approach. The Scopus database was consulted using the keyword: "smart contract". It was decided to use the SciMAT bibliometric tool for the bibliometric study with the approach based on a joint analysis of words and the h-index to visualize diagrams and thematic areas relatively simply for two periods: 2010-2018 and 2019-2021.
Results/Discussion. It was necessary to know the concept of smart contracts for the future of contract law and the digital economy. Some institutions and people will be against considering them as authorized legal alternatives; However, due to the technological advance currently being presented, their development will only be a matter of time.
Conclusions. Smart contracts are a technological innovation that, through blockchain technology, carry out transactions safely, quickly and with almost no risk of non-compliance.
                                            [1] => Objetivo. En el presente trabajo se revisa la producción bibliográfica referente a los contratos inteligentes desde el punto de vista empresarial, académico y científico. El objetivo es analizar de manera precisa cómo se da la relación entre los contratos inteligentes y cadena de bloques para establecer así un contexto en el desarrollo de ambos.
Diseño/Metodología/Enfoque. Se consultó la base de datos de Scopus, utilizando la palabra clave “SMART CONTRACT”. Se decidió utilizar la herramienta bibliométrica SciMAT para el estudio bibliométrico con el enfoque basado en un análisis conjunto de palabras y el índice-h, para la visualización de diagramas y áreas temáticas de una forma relativamente sencilla para dos períodos de 2010 a 2018 y de 2019 a 2021.
Resultados/Discusión. Resultó necesario conocer el concepto de contratos inteligentes para el futuro del derecho contractual y de la economía digital. Algunas instituciones y personas estarán en contra de que se consideren como alternativas legales autorizadas; no obstante, por el adelanto tecnológico que se presenta en la actualidad solo será cuestión de tiempo su desarrollo.
Conclusiones. Los contratos inteligentes son una innovación tecnológica que a través del uso de la tecnología blockchain realiza transacciones de manera segura, rápida y casi sin riesgo de incumplimiento.
