                    [0] => This article aims to analyze the foundations of the solidarity economy as a strategy of solidarity development based on the theoretical and militant construction of Paul Singer. To this end, studies have been carried out in works by the author that deal with this question with different dimensions of analysis and in different historical contexts, from the 1960s until his most recent productions in the 21st century, confronting the model of capitalist development with solidarity and highlighting some of the virtues and strategies of the solidarity economy in community development initiatives. It has been possible to learn that the issues that have challenged Singer since his analyzes regarding the challenges of overcoming underdevelopment, about alternatives to capitalist development, and whether it is possible to bring development to poor communities, are closely intertwined in the works analyzed here. In all these dimensions and perspectives of analysis, one must have a utopian point of view or orientation of a social system capable of overcoming the contradictions of capitalism. At the same time, it demands a militant posture of constructing this alternative from the current reality of the hegemony of capital, which requires rescuing and constructing new strategies of socioeconomic organization guided by the values and principles of solidarity, cooperation and self-management.@en
                    [1] => Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar os fundamentos da economia solidária como estratégia de desenvolvimento solidário a partir da construção teórica e militante de Paul Singer. Para tanto, foram realizados estudos em obras do autor que tratam dessa questão com diferentes dimensões de análise e em distintos contextos históricos, desde a década de 1960 até suas produções mais recentes no século XXI, confrontando o modelo de desenvolvimento capitalista com o solidário e destacando algumas das virtudes e estratégias da economia solidária em iniciativas comunitárias de desenvolvimento. Foi possível apreender que as questões que desafiaram Singer desde as suas análises em relação aos desafios para superação do subdesenvolvimento, sobre as alternativas ao desenvolvimento capitalista e se é possível levar desenvolvimento a comunidades pobres, estão intimamente interligadas nas obras aqui analisadas. Em todas essas dimensões e perspectivas de análise, é preciso ter um ponto de vista ou uma orientação utópica de um sistema social capaz de superar as contradições do capitalismo. Ao mesmo tempo, exige uma postura militante de construção dessa alternativa a partir da realidade atual de hegemonia do capital, o que requer resgatar e construir novas estratégias de organização socioeconômica orientadas pelos valores e princípios da solidariedade, da cooperação e da autogestão.@pt
