                                            [0] => The Science and Technology Parks are instances that promote regional technological, scientific and socioeconomic development through the interaction between companies and educational and research institutions. In order to expand its borders, the State of Mato Grosso do Sul has the first International Technology Park (PTin), which is being implemented in the city of Ponta Porã-MS. Thus, the objective of this study was to identify the main difficulties in the implementation of this project, as well as the good practices applied in PTin, with the purpose of proposing suggestions for actions to consolidate the park. The methodology used was qualitative, being characterized as documentary and descriptive. To identify the procedures adopted, interviews were conducted, structured questionnaire application, as well as observant participation in meetings with partner institutions and PTin's board. The results indicate that one of the main difficulties faced was a very strong political manifestation, which resulted in the delongation of the installation of its basic infrastructure. Still, it can be highlighted the lack of the participation of society in its prospective process and the lack of incentive to private investment. Thus, it is suggested the development of public policies and strategic guidelines for definitions and implementation of PTin's Good Practices, mechanisms to encourage private investment, structuring of an engaged and committed work team, as well as developing programs and actions that meet their goals. Given this, it is expected that this research will contribute to the process of implementation and consolidation of the first International Technological Park in the border region of Mato Grosso do Sul.
                                            [1] => Os Parques Científicos e Tecnológicos são instituições promotoras de desenvolvimento tecnológico, científico e socioeconômico regional através da interação entre empresas e instituições de ensino e pesquisa. No sentido de ampliar suas fronteiras, o Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul conta com o primeiro Parque Tecnológico Internacional (PTin), que está em fase de implantação na cidade de Ponta Porã-MS. O objetivo desse estudo foi identificar as principais dificuldades na implantação deste empreendimento, bem como as boas práticas aplicadas no PTin, visando propor sugestões de ações para a consolidação do parque. A metodologia utilizada foi qualitativa, caracterizando-se como documental e descritiva. Para identificar os procedimentos adotados foram realizadas entrevistas, aplicação questionário estruturado, além da participação observante em reuniões com instituições parceiras e diretoria do PTin. Os resultados apontam que uma das principais dificuldades enfrentadas foi uma manifestação política muito forte, o que resultou no delongamento da instalação de sua infraestrutura básica. Ainda, pode-se destacar a carência da participação da sociedade no seu processo prospectivo e a falta de incentivo ao investimento privado. Dessa forma, sugere-se o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas e diretrizes estratégicas para definições e implantação de Boas Práticas do PTin, realização de mecanismos de incentivo ao investimento privado, estruturação de uma equipe de trabalho engajada e comprometida, além de desenvolver programas e ações que atendam suas metas. Diante disso, espera-se que esta pesquisa contribua para o processo de implantação e consolidação do primeiro Parque Tecnológico Internacional na região de fronteira de Mato Grosso do Sul.
