Science for all? Scientific dissemination in museums
Abstract
The growing influence of science and technology in everyday life, making the discussion about its implications on society increasingly present, contributes to the setting of a more comprehensive perspective of the diffusion of scientific knowledge. Science museums seek to present aspects concerning the importance of the relationship between science-technology-daily, seeking to consolidate itself as one of the areas of dissemination of scientific information. This article discusses the characteristics and peculiarities of scientific dissemination, and their interrelationships with the phenomenon of information in the specific area of the museum exhibitions.
