                                    [description] => O artigo examina o processo de expansão tecnológica e - particularmente - a natureza de um pacote tecnológico e seus componentes: o processo de transferência tecnológica (através da caracterização de cinco classes de tecnologia e onze tipos de transferência) e o processo de assimilação tecnológica, com especial referência aos fatores que o inibem ou facilitam. As noções de"gerenciamento estratégico da tecnologia" e de "aprendizagem tecnológica" são definidas vinculando-as a um conjunto de competências informacionais (de menor impacto teleológico e maior alcance operativo a maior impacto teleológico e menor alcance operativo), cuja aquisição contribuirá para a significativa modernização do trabalho informacional nos países em desenvolvimento.Palavras-chaveTransferência de tecnologia. Gerenciamento da tecnologia; Aprendizagem tecnológica.The informational work with the perspective of the technological learning for the developmentAbstractThe paper attemps to examine the process of technological expansion, and- at a more particular level - the nature of a technological package and its components, the process of technological transfer (through the characterization of five kinds of technologies and eleven types of transfer) and the process of technological assimilation, with special reference to those factors which inhibit it or facilitate it. The notions of strategic management of technology" and of "tecnological learning" are then defined and related to a set of Information competences (from those of low teleological impact/high operative reach to those of high teleological impact/low operative reach) whose acquisition would foster the significant modernization of information work in the developing countries.Key wordsTechnological transfer; Technological information.Technological development.
