                    [0] => O artigo relata dois estudos setoriais realizados pelo Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas C/PT) para levantar as necessidades de informação tecnológica e de outras formas de apoio técnico das empresas de cada setor. Os estudos procuraram relacionar essas necessidades com o ambiente competitivo em que as empresas operam. Os setores estudados foram o de eletrodomésticos e o de confecções. The studies also relate such needs to the competitive environment in which the firms operate. The industries studied were homeappliances and apparel. One major conclusion to, drawn from the studies is that the structure of the industry in which the firms function will condition not only their technical information needs, but also their ability to search for and accumulate suchinformation in the form of technological capacity.KeywordsTechnical information.
