Objective: To map the scientific productions on ethnic-racial relations indexed in the Reference Databases of Articles of Journals in Information Science (BRAPCI) as a means of identifying the main characteristics that permeate these publications in order to portray the dynamics and evolution of scientific information on this theme. Methodology: It has an applied nature, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, as well as exploratory and descriptive objectives. It applies indicators and bibliometric laws in the publications analyzed and makes use of the VosViewer software to build co-authorship networks. Results: Between 1979 and 2022, 298 articles were written on the subject, with the highest publication peak in 2020. These articles were authored by 789 researchers, standing out among them the author Miriam de Albuquerque Aquino, as the most productive and the one with the largest network of co-authorship in her productions. Revista do Arquivo Nacional – ACERVO stands out as the responsible for 10% of authorship in the articles published. The analysis of the content of the abstracts shows that the productions, in their majority, address 05 main themes. Conclusions: The quantity of publications on the aforementioned topic within the area of ​​Information Science is still very small and there is little representation of researchers who develop continuous studies on it. It emphasizes the need for greater dissemination about the theme within the academic spheres and events in the area as a means of streamlining and expanding these discussions and research.@en

Objetivo: Hacer mapeamiento las producciones científicas acerca de las relaciones étnico-raciales que están indexadas en la Base de Dados Referencial de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI) como forma de identificar las principales características que atraviesan esas publicaciones para así retratar la dinámica y evolución de la información científica acerca de la temática. Metodología: Posee naturaleza aplicada, con abordaje cuantitativo y cualitativo, objetivos exploratorios y descriptivos. Se han aplicado indicadores y leyes bibliométricas en las publicaciones analizadas, y se recurre al uso del software VOSViewer para la construcción de redes de coautoría. Resultados: Se ha constatado que entre los años 1979 hasta 2022 fueron escritos 298 artículos acerca del tema, habiendo su máximo de publicaciones en 2020. Estos artículos tuvieron la autoría de 789 investigadores/as, destacándose en medio estes/as la autora Miriam de Albuquerque Aquino como la más productiva y con una mayor red de coautoría en sus producciones. La Revista do Arquivo Nacional – ACERVO se ha destacado como la responsable por 10% de los artículos publicados. El análisis del contenido de los resúmenes demuestra que las producciones, en su mayoría, abordan 05 temáticas principales. Conclusiones: Las publicaciones acerca de la temática apuntada en el área de la Ciencia de la Información todavía son escasísimas y hay baja representatividad de investigadores que desarrollen estudios continuos sobre el tema. Se resalta la necesidad de una mayor divulgación temática en los ámbitos académicos, y en eventos del referida área, cómo una forma de dinamizar y expandir esas discusiones e investigaciones.@es
