Memory and representations about gaúcha culture

The research aims to understand the social representations about the gaúcha culture, through the information available in the official website of the Farroupilhas Celebrations. It is characterized as a documentary qualitative, supported by bibliographical research and the methods used were the content analysis technique according with Bardin (2011) and the Text Mining, using the NVivo as a tool. According to the analysis, it was possible to establish four news categories, which were determined as: (1) Publication Period; (2) Use of images and audiovisuals; (3) Responsibility and (4) Thematic Content. Through NVivo software analysis, was developed a cloud of tags of the 66 words that best represented the celebrations. The analysis of the information on the website of the Farroupilhas Celebrations, allowed the construction of a significant map of the elements of representation of the gaúcha culture. It was noticed that the website of the event is an informational source with the potential for dissemination of representations related to the celebration and also a shared narrative or discursive resource among the members of the community. The Farroupilhas Celebrations and their representations keeping of the social substratum in which they are born and configured as a space for the memory of a local historical event, supported by the collective memory of their populations, especially through the Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho (MTG), responsible for organizing event and website.@en

A pesquisa tem por objetivo compreender as representações sociais sobre a cultura gaúcha, por meio das informações disponibilizadas no website oficial dos Festejos Farroupilhas. A mesma caracteriza-se como qualitativa de cunho documental, apoiada em pesquisa bibliográfica e os métodos utilizados foram a técnica de análise de conteúdo, conforme Bardin (2011) e à Mineração de Textos, utilizando como ferramenta o NVivo De acordo com as análises foi possível estabelecer quatro categorias referentes às notícias, que foram determinadas como: (1) Período de Publicação, (2) Utilização de imagens e audiovisuais, (3) Responsabilidade e (4) Conteúdo Temático. Por meio de análise no software NVivo, também foi desenvolvida uma nuvem de tags das 66 palavras que melhor representavam os festejos. As análises das informações no website dos Festejos Farroupilhas, possibilitaram a construção de um mapa significativo dos elementos de representação da cultura gaúcha. Percebeu-se que o website do evento é uma fonte informacional com potencial de difusão de representações relacionadas à celebração e também um recurso narrativo ou discursivo compartilhado entre os membros da comunidade. Assim, os Festejos Farroupilhas e suas representações conservam a marca do substrato social em que nascem e se configuram enquanto um espaço de memoração de um feito histórico local, apoiado pela memória coletiva dos seus habitantes, sobretudo por meio do Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho (MTG), responsável pela organização do evento e do website.@pt
