Mapping correlations between productivity and investment grants in graduate programs: the case of the Federal University of Goiás

O artigo apresenta uma discussão sobre tipos de indicadores e fontes de informação para a construção de sistemas cientométricos como base de análise de uma política científica e tecnológica. Propõe-se uma análise da correlação entre a Avaliação Trienal da CAPES e o Mapa de Investimentos do CNPq para identificar possíveis relacionamentos entre desempenho de programas de pós-graduação e investimentos realizados. O estudo mostra evidências de que os programas mais antigos e que possuem maior número de professores tendem a apresentar maior produtividade e nível de investimento.@pt

A This study presents a discussion of types of indicators and sources of information for building scientometric systems as a base of analysis of a scientific and technological policy. The article proposes an analysis of the correlation between the Triennial Assessment of CAPES and the Investment Map of CNPq to identify possible relations between the performance of graduate programs and the investments received. Evidence shows that older programs that have more professors affiliated to them tend to have higher productivity and a higher level of investment.@en
